Summer Guidelines

It is the student’s responsibility to receive approval from his/her home district prior to applying.

No refunds will be granted. The parent/guardian acknowledges that they have obtained written school district administration approval before a student enrolls in any course to be taken to satisfy district specific credit requirements and deficiencies.

Students must have access to a computer with Internet service that meets the specified technical requirements.

Students must follow their home district’s Acceptable Use and Academic Integrity policies. Failure to do so can result in removal from the program with no refund.

Credit is awarded and recorded on the student’s official transcript by the school district. The final percentage earned is reported to the student’s home district.

Waterfront Learning’s summer session must take place during the defined terms. Waterfront is unable to grant a pause or temporary stoppage of courses to accommodate vacations, camps, or other student activities.   Given that students can access their courses from most locations with Internet capabilities, we suggest completing while traveling or obtaining permission for an extension.  If an extension is requested, extension fees will apply.

Students must adhere to course start/end dates. Extensions are available pending district approval at the rates listed below:
1 day - 13 days            $130
2 weeks - 4 weeks      $260
Elementary programs cannot be extended.

** Tuition prices are subject to change without notice. **
