SUMMER SESSION 2019!

Waterfront Summer Session
Enrich and Explore enrollment is open from April 1st to May 22nd.
Recover Now enrollment is open from June 3rd to July 18th.

Waterfront Learning’s Recover Now! program is designed to create a flexible and tailored learning environment for students.  All courses are 100% online, aligned to PA Core, and facilitated by a PA certified teacher.  Waterfront Learning understands that each student has a unique set of needs when studying online.   The program has improved support services offering students:
  • Student support leaders to coach and advise students
  • Live office hours with teaching staff
  • Live, on-demand tutoring
  • 24/7 student access to course work
  • Self-paced and engaging lessons
  • Online parent access to student attendance and progress
No refunds will be granted.  The parent/guardian acknowledges that they have obtained written school district administration approval before a student enrolls in any course to be taken to satisfy district specific credit requirements and deficiencies.

Enrich

Is for students in grades 6 - 12 who would like to advance academically by taking additional courses over the summer. Enrichment courses are not condensed; students should allow enough time to complete a full year’s worth of work during the summer session.

Recover

Is for students in grades 6 - 12 who have already taken a course during the regular school year and need to improve their performance. Non-NCAA eligible students have the opportunity to create customized learning recovery courses through diagnostic testing.

Explore

For students in grades 9 - 12 that  would like to explore a new career or field by taking a course over the summer. Explore courses allow students to learn more about a career or field before committing to the field at a post-secondary establishment.

Bridge

For students entering grades 6,7,8 who would like to bridge the transition to the next grade level.  These online courses combine summer review and introductions to concepts that will be taught in the upcoming school year.

Pathways

Virtual Summer Camp for students entering grades 6, 7, 8 seeking pathways to explore STEM, arts/humanities, technology, and Pennsylvania History.  Students will be exposed to engaging topics and prepared for electives in future grade levels.
